"The IEEE students are “the droids we are looking for” to give some “binary understanding” to this moisture vaporator's remote control system, which is essential to ensure that it is running perfectly, producing the 400 gallons of clean water from air, that a hospital, hotel, community or platoon needs every day. 1,000 machines can be linked together to make 400,000 gallons of water per day, too, so the remote control software is important to this tech."
Huh, I wonder why they are making sure they can plug 1,000 of these together soon??? :)
Sounds like they are using UCSD to make sure their remote control technology is able to handle the mass sales about to happen!
Nothing like savvy college techs to find all the bugs and fix them. Sounds like a smart, free way to get some serious R&I done.
In my correspondence with Jeff Stockdale, he said this will be on campus for 90-120 days once fully up and running. Sounds like a semester of college using our tech for learning. Pretty awesome stuff!
