kinda makes you think about what would the driving force be for the adoption of qdot 3rd generation cells. I mean...how much better can you get? I think the real problem left for solar is energy storage. Compressed air, hydrogen, batteries? Of course, once you add these costs to the system maybe that downplays the .03 KWH record. I think solar is definitely worth pursuing, but waste heat recovery is the one we should be focused upon. Say, you were to use a compressed air tank to store solar energy; this creates heat that could be capture and converted to current with qdot film. Of course, batteries are good too for qdot growth.

Nice find. Suprised the size and scale of the project is not larger. The Chinese can knock it out at a gigawatt per project. Looking forward to hearing some details about QTMM'S China office. David D. said they had alot of details already hammered out in Feb.
