#42424 RE: BottomBounce #42421

Doesn't get me excited.

Gates is worth $77.3B.

Gates investment in AMRS is $5M.

Investment is 0.00649% of Gates net worth.

For a family with an after-tax income $50,000.00, an equivalent investment for them would be $324.68 (rounded up to the nearest penny).

OK, anybody out there who has that after-tax income has my permission to invest $325 in AMRS stock. In round numbers, that would be 373 shares of stock at today's closing price.

Granted, the stock spiked several days ago because of a new supply agreement that could save AMRS $9M annually. But in perspective, AMRS had Operating Cash Flow over the last 12-months of -$72.82M.

On that spike day, the spike faded during the day and the stock ended the day negative once more, and it's been straight down since then.

So I'll guess the initial spike was short-covering, and the rest of the volume was on falling shares as wiser long investors sold their positions.
