it would make no sense why they would report a negative earning statement before the open at the beginning of the week. Most people report bad news at the end of the week so it has time to fizzle out and not bring the stock down to much. Maybe management at Freddie Mac dont care that negative news will negatively impact the stock, because the government have sabataged the stock so far anyways.
