All this is a for profit game. Management, company, employees, vendors and so on & yes investors such as my self. If my money is tied up here and doing nothing while the s&p is reaching new highs we have a problem. It's called underperforming and I want to know why.

The company and the management team are responsible for the profit and they are doing their job. The market is responsible for the PPS.

When managers start trying to manage the PPS then that is a slippery slope and can lead to long-term strategy being sacrificed for short-term gains.

I think much of the PPS performance lag over the past year is directly associated with the $12 million equity raise to meet the NASDAQ listing requirements.

The company had a great year this past year with a positive net profit. But, they have a long way to go yet to accumulate $12 million net profit trough normal operations.

Having said that, the fact that the company has the large cash reserve certainly lends stability to our investments and there will be a tipping point, as some have termed it recently, where the PPS should more closely follow the company's overall performance. And when that happens, the fact that we are NASDAQ listed is much better than being on the OTC. imo

Hello again Roof..

How is it ignorance as a shareholder to expect value from a publicly traded company?

I never said it was. Again, I said it was ignorant to only look at one variable. All shareholders expect value, including myself.

As for under performing, my perspective has been stated about YOY profits. I personally do not expect much performance until we turn some.

We all bought in to SUNW for our own reasons. I am not here to tell anyone that their reasons were wrong. I can only say that while I wish the PPS were higher, I do not expect it to be much at this time. Not until we (in my eyes) earn it.

Even if the oil market had not spiraled down, even if the overall market had not dropped last year, I doubt the current PPS would be above $5 or $6 for SUNW. We are still a micro cap company and that's just the way it is. I still think we are putting all the pieces in place and will be above $5 once they are. It just takes time. IMHO.
