So the immediate fall out from the FDA's new opioid guidelines is at least one state saying..."OK, &$%@ this, no more opioids." Which will lead to more abuse, black market sales, counterfeit drugs, suicides, overdoses, etc.

Then there's the angle of the "abuse-deterrant" formulations being more expensive than heroin.....

They're more or less making the decision for the addicted individual in the throws of said epidemic.

Pricey medication or much cheaper heroin....

Now which one do you think they'll choose?

Not to mention those who have to pay out of pocket,to get their prescriptions....

Wake up FDA; PLEASE.
