I’m also wondering if you had thought to pick up some cheapies when you had/have the opportunity. Who’s to say what’s cheap? but from .10 to today’s prices would have already represented a 3 to 4-fold gain for you, maybe enough to undue your previous loss. Anyway, that's how averaging down can be helpful when it works in someone's favor. Not recommending anything.
