Trimerica boils down to a name change to try and bury Treaty's past. FINRA did not allow it. The move to Delaware SOS was to make it more difficult for shareholders to do DD on the share structure and amendments. It also in NO way relives the company and TECO/Treaty/Trimerica stockholders of the debt and legal liabilities.
