Hi Strong Chart,

When you are in the StockCharts.com site and you request a symbol that is not in their system the page that opens is the Site Search page. On that page there is a link to "Request a Symbol".

Symbol requests:

StockCharts is a site focused on Technical Chart Analysis and thus they do not cover every stock in the universe. Here's a quote from their website covering this subject.

" We have datasets for most ticker symbols in each of the markets we cover but not necessarily all ticker symbols. We do not automatically provide data for extremely low priced stocks since technical analysis techniques do not work with such stocks and the charts for those stocks can be extremely misleading.

If there is a ticker symbol for a stock in a market that we cover that you would like to see and we do not have that symbol in our database, you can request that we add that symbol by using our Symbol Request form. "

We have to remember there is a cost to purchase this data for redistribution and maintain it. It would be unfair to pass that cost on to all members when only a very few are following a particular stock and really none of StockCharts analysis tools are applicable in most of these cases.

However if you still feel some of your stocks in question meet the criteria, send them a request and justify your position as to why you think it is worth the cost for everyone.
