Ok Under my building is path the Whole food's largest grossing store in NYC ( verified by stat pro who was doing comparative shopping), and 20 minutes away is Trader Joes probably their highest grossing store in USA.

Now Trader Joes their, in midst of major competition vacuum cleans its customers away from most stores, on week ends with some people on crutches form a 100 person line just to enter store, and subject to 15 minute line starting almost anywhere on main floor, looks like a store of payers and no shoppers, as savvy shoppers go on line to pay and shop from there, they will pass everything on that floor anyway from that line.

Trader Joe's nails some products which customers are addicted to, they are usually reformulated with some twist at a bare bones price. They got me on the raisin bread and dried mangos, and almost everything else I need their is competitively priced for NYC.

Whole Foods needs to tie some of its customers to some inventively distinctive food products.
