I guess that fairly large trade at the end of the week trading is just a coverage play, overwhelmed any other bids to make sure the short borrow was covered.
This goes on every day with us, today more egregious than most. You have to put some real cash down to lock in a price you need for coverage elsewhere.
I tried playing yesterday with a couple of hundred share trades yesterday. This questionable ¿??$35K trade to close the week just covered someone who's short term loan was due.
IMHO.
Getting screwed. Hoping all is well with you and yours Brother, I've been accumulating recently. Traded some out, buying back. About played out on that cycle after holping for a bit. AND, thanking Cannon (DTC) for waking me up there.
Got lucky this week, don't know what'll happen next. I bought back in around $3 over the course of the week. And I'm going ot hold those.
