It appears your post is credible. I also just called, and speak both Spanish and Portuguese.
What she said is:
"As negociações continuam", so both sides are continuing the discussion.
I asked her pointed questions and she was not able to authenticate more than that, but she made it clear the discussions were continuing as recently as yesterday afternoon.
Anyone with doubts can call them, as I did.
Woofers was telling the truth.
