It sure would be interesting to know roughly how many shares they had in their pockets before the idiot court decision. Seems kind of big brother stepping in when the courts can make such a dicision against those willing to tender only because the BOD of AZK hwere afraid of loosing their high priced jobs instead of looking out for the shareholders rights in that company

My guess would be that NXG, sometime after Oct 19, will make another run at AZK, assuming no competitive bids are made before then. After all, AZK was their “pick of the litter” several months ago and nothing of a fundamental nature has changed since. In addition, they have the research and most of the paper work already completed. They also have a much better handle on their chances of obtaining 75% of the shares.

This go around I expect them to be more aggressive and accumulate as many AZK shares as possible before making the offer. They like the company and have the cash. If a higher bid comes in before Oct 19, they make a quick profit on the shares. If no higher offer materializes, they have a running start on a new take-over attempt. It seems like a win-win deployment of the huge cash position they are building.

PS…..it is refreshing to have a stock board that is free of political diatribe…..Spec
