Tom Hayden's Nation piece is honorable and wise, very good reading! .. his point re Hillary's nuanced positions on fracking and the financial institutions, for two, having more chance for real evolutionary change in Congress than Bernie's outright no on fracking e.g. are spot on .. still, wow, no credit at all from Bernie supporters who in the first few and long ones totally condemn Hayden stridently as a 'gone to the establishment' guy .. obviously many of them have been activists for long, and good ones i'll bet, some of them .. yet .. some railroad track thinking i feel, all or nothing does not have a solid history ..

.. no one activist in the world would not remember Tom Hayden's influential opposition to the Vietnam war ..
