I don't think $2 mil. is needed to determine if there is shallow oxide ore at Hay Mountain. Two holes at the best two locations would tell the tale. Or, if uncomfortable with that, make it four holes. No need to drill to 2000 feet, in JB's own words, the oxide zone is just a few hundred feet down.

The drilling program as proposed by JB is so complicated, using some novel kind of drilling equipment, so expensive, that it will never happen. Just a way to prolong things for months (or years).

BTW, no mention of the novel drilling equipment in the last interview. I listened to that whole damn thing and didn't hear the one thing I was most curious about. I couldn't care less about JB's genealogy.

One other thing.....the presence of ore-grade in skarn is no guarantee that ore-grade is present in underlying porphyry. Johnson Camp for instance.
