I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that details of the merger were now going to take longer than the 30 days originally mentioned. Folks panicked too quickly, along with folks take some profits along the way....IMO

The last merger news said people had to wait a little longer because a deal this big needs time to be put together properly. You forgot that info in your post.

Keep in mind that the last time news came out on the merger, the stock dropped precipitously from .0052 all the way to .0015 before it bounced.
