I guess but it has a gauging affect...not so much now that QE broke as it was much more reliable before now it's just find the bottoms.

Very true, but very rare also, however, when we've seen VXX and spy go up at the same time, you'd best batten down the hatches, cause it's about to storm. We saw that phenomenon occur back in August when spy was going up, but begrudgingly , and VXX was edging up, then started galloping up at the same time, within days, utter drop.
