The strength in the gold complex that has emerged recently arises from investors seeking a safe haven from an overbought stock market. If you think gold stocks are overbought over the last 2 months, look at the SPY over the last 7 years. This is why I am hesitant to short gold and why I have had 50% of my portfolio in gold stocks from November and December. I still play dust now and again but very carefully.
