The farmer buys an ox and the ox sees a land plentiful of food.
The farmer attaches a yoke to the ox.
Then gains trust of the ox by allowing the ox to eat small quantities of food the ox likes from the farmer.
The ox, oblivious to what is fixing to happen.
As trust is further established the ox gets another obstacle attached, a plow.
As the ox is now ready to be used the farmer applies one more trick.

Thus by trust through an early acquaintance it turns out to be deception on the ox because the farmer is only after his desire.
