A familiar precursor to death on the Walking Dead is stating how wonderful life is.

Daryl is a possibility based on Talking Dead which aired afterwards. There was an interaction between Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus where Morgan basically said it's a shame that he shows up and a character has to leave and Norman elbows him like Shucks! They are friends in real life.

I found it odd.
