I've mentioned before that there seem to be ongoing messaging differences between Intel and Micron that make me believe that things aren't all rosy with either the technologies or the relationship or both.

I suspect we'll find out by the end of the year.

I don't see anything on google about it but others may be more in the loop on flash.

I did a google search and they started using Hynix as a 3rd source in 2014 in one of the NAND enterprise drives. So they have familiariaty with them.

It is suprising to me too however. Keep in mind it is a rumour from GURU 3D at this point and may be BS. But they did pick it off of a german website that was listing it for sale. So we shall see :)
