I work at Target and there is NOT a week that goes past that someone tells me how there were hacked and how disturbing and frustrating the whole situation was.

Seems like a $50 cost to distributor and a $70 cost to user would be a small price to pay to many of those I've talked to.

And if my memory serves me well The Card is to last around 5 years...seems to me a small price to pay for peace of mind...

Hi Stock Medic, please remember that master cards partner Zwipe is quoting card sales between 90$-120$ per card with a card that's solely a payments card, and does not work in ATMs. Also a reminder that consumer research shows consumers would be happy to pay $69.95 a card. 68% of USA Visa credit card holders surveyed 68% said they would pay $69.95 for a biometric safer card with a fingerprint scanner built inside
