#29518 RE: davidsamuel #29499

I'm after the truth. I want this thing to sky rocket like the next person. Read old posts of mine, when I first got here on the board (after already being in the actual stock for quite some time), I was pretty even keel bordering on positive. However after years of folks coming in claiming to have 'confirmed sources' and who have 'heard from board members' about the various deals and plays GDSI has been after and has tried, I know positive conjecture and grasping at straws for hope or to iHub manipulation (could be either or both) vs real hard facts.

Additionally, I'm know sure what you're getting at with your 'longs wouldn't make negative comments' remark. If you're insinuating that longs should keep everything positive even to the point of being dishonest or at the very least disingenuous then I couldn't disagree more. I have a tremendous stake in GDSI and could stand to make a very significant sum if this deal is indeed completed and the market responds well to the newly formed company. However I don't care how many millions I stand to make with the success of the company, I'm not going to stand here and pretend that all is well when there is a clear track record of announcing deals that never come through all the while people on this board yell "any day now there will be an announcement" from the rooftops and another new crop of posters start getting everyone riled up with their supposed "inside source" with "confirmation". I'm sorry, I'm just not built like that, I can't be that slimy and dishonest.

It's very telling that even the mildest post of disbelief in supposed 'inside sources' or innocuous questioning of some of the "facts" that people are posting as truth leads to immediate attempts to discredit the poster, label them as a basher, or question their motives. However "positive" posts, even those without substance that are clearly grasping at straws (like an office in the US that's been around years before this deal was even announced as proof that this deal has been completed) is met with absolutely 0 scrutiny and generally accepted with gratitude and gladness. It's as if the only position that stands to gain in this endeavor is a short position. NEWS FLASH, people can make money if the stock goes up too - so don't believe everything they tell you because they could be pressuring you to slap that Ask so they can get out at the highest point possible for themselves regardless of whether or not the information they post is valid or accurate or not.

So yeah genius, it IS a money thing.
