The "pocket ticket machine" from Siemens Business Services is also not only planned for bus and train. It works already in some test regions for parking tickets for cars. After registering via internet you print out a code that must be fixed at the front shield. Then the controller only needs a camera phone to check validity. But I don't know if Lavasphere is the used software.
