On June 10, 2008, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent No. 7,384,562 for the Company's
process for “The Treatment of Brown Grease.” The patent provides protection against the replication,
copy or other infringement on the proprietary process the Company uses to transform fats, oils and grease
into EcoFuel. On December 15, 2009, the Company was issued a divisional patent, Patent No. 7,632,319
for “Fuel Produced by thee Treatment of Brown Grease.” Both patents expire on August 25, 2025.

Beginning in September, 2005, the patent expenses shall be amortized over its estimated useful life which
has been determined to be 15 years.
