I can't any example of spy gapping thus far below the 9 EMA and then closing back above to continue the run, except once in October 2014, but the run ended a few days after the occurrence. Basically , what I'm seeing is any time we see the gap below the 9 EMA this far, at the very least it has spelled the beginning of the end of the run.
