Funny you bring that up. I just bought a Volkswagen for a healthy discount last December thanks to their little diesel mistake. They are still a $64 Billion market cap by the way and doing just fine.
But stay away if there's bad news right?? Ford and Bridgestone killed 17 people. Coke largely responsible for child obesity so you better stick with water. Oh wait, there's lead in water. Back to bottled water. Wait, plastic is filling the oceans and killing our fish....Etc etc etc......
