what did you think of LEAT? Quarter was expected to be light b/c of orders shifted back to q3 and higher selling expenses, but this came in much lower than I expected. Maybe q1 gets additional sales pushed out from q4 a bit, but with the increase sga due to the Helmet ramping, not sure what the bottom line will look like.
Plus it looks to me like their new focuses, helmets etc., have led them to take their eye off the very important neck braces, where they seem to be losing market share. I think neck braces are very important for their future, b/c it leads to more body armor sales......and if their neck brace sales continue to be flat and/or decline, they may end up losing body armor sales.
I was at several stores specializing in mountain bike equipment, one near Mountain Creek, NJ and another in Vermont...and the manager of each of those stores said that while Leatt was once considered best of breed, and top of the line, several other brands have started to move higher on their customers lists of what's coolest to buy.
