Cm3i's post states that the name/symbol change is delayed because the SEC needed more info. It does'nt say that the SEC has anything to do with assigning the symbol.
The SEC does need to be informed and if they need more info then we give it to them. It sounds like cm3i is just saying that they (NORD/NWOG) need to have ALL REPORTING done with SEC before the process of Symbol/Name change can be completed, which is done by the exchange itself.
