I doubt it is true as Intel now have perpetual use of all Nvidia patents they have already licensed.

Agreed, also view it strategically: AMD is a much bigger threat to INTC if it is healthy than NVIDIA is. It would make much more sense for INTC to not bolster AMD's financials and to instead just renew the agreement w/ NVDA.
