A key consideration with any major project impacting the area will be the quality (yes quality not quantity) of consultation with the community and associated community stakeholders.
I have seen many projects up here in the north go sour during the environmental assessment phase due to key holes left open with stakeholders.
I see absolutely no issues here from what has been reported by news, local shareholders, land owners, and political figures. In fact I would say this is a textbook approach for other mining firms to learn from. All imho.
