You know, Alan...I seem to remember you predicting record losses/expenses to offset revenue gains.... looks to me like their losses got cut in half for the year.... I think this announcement is good news. The independent board is an easy fix and it's very clear they intend to uplist (and thus intend to meet all requirements) in the near future. I am sure it will be addressed on the CC. Looking forward to 11.

Alan,

The issue of an independent board is important, but not as black and white as you tend to,suggest. First off, I do not believe that there is some tenure requirement for independent board members prior to uplisting. Not any time requirement. They could be installed the day before the application for uplisting. As regards the current board, O'Mara is clearly independent. Is Thacker independent? He is listed on the website as Director and Secretary, but I am not certain whether the reference to "secretary" is as to secretary of the board or as a direct officer of Sigma Labs.

In looking at the timeline and development of the business, not having more board members avoids the expense associated with a board member - not insignificant. Also, I am of the opinion that it will be easier to attract better quality board members when Sigma is on the cusp of or right after receiving significant contracts for revenues than during the prior product development period. Tus, my conclusion (and/or opinion) is that the board issue is not a big deal and that to have a board which satisfied your concern would have incurred additional expenses at a time when they were not necessary, thus becoming another negative to focus on.

As regards the stock buyback, I am uncertain. Is this the best use of the funds that Sigma has?

I am also continued to be a bit confused and disappointed in that it does not appear that insiders are acquiring shares. Why not?

All in all I remain strongly in the positive on Sigma category, as well as being among the charter members of the dot connecting disorder.
