Over the past 15 years there have been a few times where others have created alternative sites where "bashing" isn't allowed. They ultimately fail and disappear from the internet. The majority of the content wins up being about the iHub board, where all opinions are allowed, and the bulls-only board eventually die on the vine.

That's a point I meant to bring up. The current would-be competitor--which has egregiously imitated IHub in almost every way possible--allows board mods to ban "bashers" at will. As you say, most boards are full of irrelevant complaints about how "unfair" IHub is.

And yet that site isn't very popular. Even for the whiners who use it, IHub is still the site of choice. If only they could figure out how to avoid all those personal attacks...

Another suggestion might be to make the "Daily FINRA Short Report!" posts Off-Topic since they have absolutely nothing to do with short-selling?

These have always crossed the line because the people posting it for years know it's a lie. Everyone knows it's a lie (except for the unsophisticated they are targeting).

Who would oppose this?
