#258449 RE: pphmtoolong #258444

toolong, re your statement below:

Agreed, geo. I bet Peregrine management was as shocked as the rest of us by the Sunrise halt.

Now is the time for them to show they understand how radically their situation has changed. Time is no longer their friend. No one is going to throw money at them anymore.

Avid is the only jewel in their crown. They need to put maximum effort turning it into a profit center big enough to carry the whole company for an extended period of time.

Yes, geo is correct - they were shocked - and as such, they are eagerly awaiting Dr. Garnick's report on "what truly gave them such an extraordinary and hugely anomalous result in their control arm.

But, in the meantime, their "situation" - IP wise - has most definitely not radically changed. Avid will of course remain as a critical component which will enable them to transition quite quickly - perhaps more rapidly then they had planned as geo also indicated in his post - into hyper partnering mode - a process which we believe may actually prove to be a blessing in disguise - as now the need for speed - as you reference in your post - has become ever more apparent - to ALL concerned.

Again I would like to reiterate my question from yesterday - as so far I have seen no responses:

A question for you to ponder - actually all - seeing as the IP is currently valued at LESS THAN ZERO : ( - what do you think will happen to the market cap when that first deal is announced - with even moderate upfront cash and normal milestones attached?

And what will that very first deal mean to the investment community? Quite simply - one word - VALIDATION - and only the first of many.

Thanks for your inputs.

James

you wrote

"Bavi development has to be put on the back burner until they stabilize their finances. Otherwise, they will run out of cash, Then, they will be forced to dilute the hell out of anyone dumb enough to hold onto their PPHM shares. The exodus of existing shareholder will further depress the share price, lead to more dilution etc, etc, etc until the end of Peregrine."

i have to disagree.... the I-O arms race is on.... the tech needs to be put in stronger and more competent hands and now is the time to do it....
