I'm definitely going to claim ignorance. My degree was in theatre performance and I invest through my old Sharebuilder account (now Capital One Investing) that I set up as a hobby.

I was told about Titan by a friend of the family in the surgical instrument field 2+ years ago. He was really excited about it and he is also extremely successful. That was enough for me, I couldn't not get invested.

That being said, I know nothing about tax penalties for US citizens regarding Canadian companies.

I worked hard for the money I put into the market and will be really bummed out if TITXF is as profitable as I think it will be only to lose it to a 40% penalty or something by the US government.

All of my shares are in a regular account, not some Roth account or 401k or anything...

I'm sweating this hard... it's a tricky situation.
