If the evidence for a discovery at Hay Mountain was truly compelling, as claimed, the investors would be lined up. Even in crappy times like these, a reasonable chance of a big discovery (100 billion bucks worth) is something that anybody would like to be part of.

But, nobody is interested. Nobody. Therefore, I have to conclude that anybody who has signed the NDA and seen the evidence thinks the data is not compelling. What other conclusion could there be?

The Johnson Camp operations were never an "option". It was just more hype, saying that Hay Mountain is a "neighbor".

This is sort of responding to your post about investors. Just read an interesting short article quoting the well-respected Rob McEwan who was critical of "streamers" in the mining industry. He said:
"Right now, capital markets are starting to provide money to the mining industry and the streamers and royalties will no longer have the lock on financing."
If you assume that LBSR "has the goods" as one geologist communicated to me, then this could be very good for LBSR.
