First of all, UF is NOTT on iOS and is NOTT on Apple TV.

Um, AppleTV cannot display 4K. It's incapable of producing a 4K output. The A8 chip is too weak (marginal at BEST), the graphics processing capacity cannot support 4K, the microcode does not support 4K output, AND Apple has disabled the ability of AppleTV boxes to output 4K signals.

So, even if UF were available on Apple TV, NTEK's 2K/HD files from Paramount would pass though AppleTV and emerge as a 1080p output signal.

Now most 4K TVs will automatically UPSCALE that 1080p input to an UPSCALED faux 4K image to paint on its display.

Butt that's the same as any 1080p input.

So AppleTV CANNOT process nor provide a 4K output to a 4K TV.
