Some trader on the US exchange made a mistake, maybe selling at market or whatever. Do you think the same person does all the trades? It is over and you should think twice about why you are investing if this puzzle was too much for you.
Im pretty sure the two sides trade independently and then consolidate before the next trading session / day...and by pretty sure i mean not sure at all but I think I remember reading that somewhere.
