#39047 RE: ztockings #39044

Seriously, are you pulling my leg or are you serious? How does the user view, update and enter data? He uses it locally on the laptop, desktop or mobile device, that's how!

How does it get from the cloud to the end user? Over a network - a LAN, WAN or WiFi connection, right?

What stops a user from copying and saving the data to his local device, or to another network drive? Nothing. And what if the server is not "in the cloud" but an appliance sitting in the back room, loaded with patient data or financial records, or customer information, or other valuable data.

What stops a "bad guy" from stealing that data, or the end user device or the server and using it for evil, especially when it is not encrypted? If the data is being managed by Gassware, there is nothing to stop it from being easily taken by a guy sitting in a coffee shop sniffing WiFi transactions.

The data is not encrypyted so what's to stop a hacker from accessing the data and copying it? Nothing.

Five years of development and this is what they deliver? No wonder Morelli was running a print shop.
