Thanks Tom for your informative posts. Refreshing to read someone's insight with the technological insight I do not have and with the level headedness not to get overwhelmed or nervous about every new technology read about. As I've said, and you confirm, most of these new technologies are not dangerous or competition to EBM as some keep fearing and that even if they might be the amount of time and process to become accepted by customers and regulators in the aviation and medical sectors preclude any near term dangers. Wish more posts were of your knowledge and insightfulness and a lot less of the knee jerk conclusion and far type. Please keep up the informative posting.

One area where I keep asking questions and ask for info and insight are on the current technologies. What are the advantages of laser and EBM in the current aviation and medical sectors and how to use see the possibilities of the Rene analysis that some parts are best with EBM, some with laser and some equal. Given all the experimentation and research computers, how many parts do you see besides blades being best suited to EBM and how might that effect arcam in sales and in what time frame. Difficult questions I know but that is my main interest given so far that laser seems to be the most focused on by GE and others. Why??? for the ignorant nontechnological investor. LOL
