GLENO - what questions do you have about futures? NQs are $20 a point (trade in 1/4 points, so $5 a tick).

ot- here but want to make a point . no offense to any particular religion here, but

have read it thank you very much. i agree about your point but when is the bible admissable as evidence for anything? as it is jews have a covenant with god. question is whether that covenant has been broken - nullifying their position.why? real problem is that 25% of the world believes that the covenant is broken, and that they represent the true jews.

also not the only, not the first monotheistic faith. if you read about zorastorism- cyrus the great also felt he had a covenant with god to promote peace and well being within the persian land, or all known world at the time. one passage translation, and his gravestone reads something like this "i cyrus the great, a persian, a son af a persian, the king of kings have been given by the one god the responsibility to bring peace and wealth to all the land... it is my sacred duty ... etc". no one goes around proclaiming that the world belongs to the iranians because god gave it to them!

the concept of good thoughts, good words, good deeds is inherently a zaroastorian concept. many parallels, i was simply amazed.

also these same persians protected the jews from the bablylonians during the period which much of the jewish textology was written forth. now they are at each other's throats. much evidence suggests that modern christianity is based upon mitral faith - as it was the religion of roman aristocracy and ancient persia. the bishops had is a mitre. the vatican is built upon mitral house of worship. the head of the mitral faith was the pope. modern christianity and the bible may very well be a mixture of judiac and mitral philosophy with a touch of paganism.

many aspects of judaism have elements in zaroastorianism, and
of course the translation of egyptian customs are legion.

it may be that the wrath of god on one or both parties is the fact that they have to cohabitate. that may be the real lesson in all this- when we can all live together, that is when we will have acheived true wisdom and humanity in the eyes of god.

question also is what you mean by "given it to them". in a sense we all will die and the land is gods land. we wont take it with us.

other point is really, who gives a hoot- the region is rife with enmity. any sane analysis will suggest that is not likely to cahnge anytime soon. look at ancient greek and roman texts about the phoenicians- a very rich trading based civilization. those texts bad mouth them to this day, as they state that the phonecians would prostitute their daughters, and other sundry accusations. hardly likely for such a prosperous civilazation. they may not have been unfaimiliar with the pros, but likely imported them from elsewhere- perhaps greece and rome!

But Gleno,

I don't think you can call god as your witness in court and since there are no title deeds, the claim on those grounds would fail.
