I grabbed a bunch of 25-cent DMM shares (almost enough to offset the $3 and $4 ones I have held for years now) last week -- I had to check, seems like it was longer ago -- and am contemplating letting some of them go.
A bunch of us were trying to figure out whether Sprott still has shares to liquidate -- they're the ones who had driven down the price with indiscriminate selling -- and our best guess is that they still have at least several million yet, which they could resume selling at any time. With such a small float, still under 50M shares, this can have a major effect on the price. (If they do, I would love to get the chance at some more 25-centers.)
The flip side of that small float is that if the PoG is indeed back into a bull and DMM does manage to finally get into proper production, look out above, with an additional kicker if Lundin really does manage to get Fruta del Norte moving, which would rerate all Ecuadorean miners.
