Maybe so but the good fundamentals for AAMRQ were still in place when they filed. Republic is in big trouble. Their problems go deep where as American was just trying to get out from under a tremendous union burden. RJET has lost and is still bleeding customers, pilots, and flights. They have had run ins and law suits with the majors in recent months and years. American was still running fine when they declared. A whole different story is unfolding here than what American had. Just my take on the matter. I am not saying that if the price gets right that I won't drop a couple coins in the wishing pool but the time is certainly not right at the moment.
