Look we all get the significance...we have been here for many many months. We are just tired of waiting for some type of appreciation in stock value....Off 90% from highs in the face of good news is tiring and troubling that it can't even get back to $2. We are tired of hearing the great things..we know...but it still never translates to the price.
Read the announcement again. Sphere was one of twelve partners. And you seem to forget that Vmware sells their own appliance.
Whom do you think customers will buy from? Vmware and Dell, among many partners, or near bankrupt Sphere?
Perhaps you got excited because Peter Bookman said that Glassware and DCO were within Horizon
Well, I just went through his tweets tody and he's deleted that tweet. I will wager someone from Vmware slapped his wrist and made him take it down. Just like Microsft stopped Sphere from claiming they could end end of life of XP.
