I like your last paragraph. If 200M shares are bought but the OS was increased by 200M shares, there will be minimal gain if any.

If and when the AS of 10 Billion is reached and they manage to RS
the shareholders are even worse off but the game goes on.

High volume in and by itself does not necessarily mean anything. Also keep in mind that hedge funds e.g Ironridge get shares at a discount to market so it is not an even playing field.

However, sitting on cheap shares just may have upside some day.
