Markiplier I think at this point has made it very clear he is not going to publicly endorse REDG products that do not bear his name. He might be on the board, yet I think his investment was a side deal based upon a long term friendship he has with Benny and others on the board.

However, that said, he will 100% plug his own comic or anything with his name on it. I foresee when his comic comes out he says "Check out my comic over at Redgiant.com and read it online at POWFOLIO, 50% of all profits go to kids charity, and check me out at the Red Giant table at Comic-Con".

That is all we will get, and too be honest, that is all we need.

The following he has is crazy. All my little cousins watch his channel etc. The following he has cannot be understated and I think is not really understood by anyone older than 25, and yes I am older and admit I don't get it. It is just a different generation.

He is never going to mix his professional youtube/name-brand business with REDG, endorsing other comics, products, etc, unless his name is on it and he can spin it for charity, etc. He doesn't do that and it would threaten the public image he has built.

Just my 2 cents.

I think people are looking at Markiplier and his association with REDG wrong. There seems to be an assumption that he will hawk REDG goods, for free. Maybe he will, but, it's a bad assumption.

REDG pays for Glass House Graphics (Campiti's company) work when they need it. Keenspot (Crosby's company) shares ad revenue for publishing their work. Glass House Graphics pays Active Media (Benny's company) for getting his stuff printed. No one here does much work for free for the other companies. Markiplier shouldn't be treated differently.

I would expect that the POWfolio app owners (REDG and Glow Dot) will have to pay Markiplier to promote the app.

It's just my opinion that the best way, is to have (pay him) Markiplier try the app and review comics (good or bad, REDG or other publishers) for his fans to try and give him feedback on.

This wouldn't compromise any integrity issues Markiplier would have with his fans. I would think there would be some books that he would like and could recommend to his fans. Conversely some that he would hate and spark discussion with his fans.

It's going to take a large user base for POWfolio to make significant money for REDG
