Why do you believe Apple is about to lose billions?
If they provide the "backdoor" to the FBI as requested - why would that hurt sales?
What would people buy instead?
If the FBI is able to force Apple to reveal their encryption code, then they can force any other manufacturer to do so as well.
We all lose privacy, but I don't see how it will cost Apple billions.
