i didn't think "trade secret" was the reason -- would it be any less trade secret when announced each quarter? i thought JF is on the record saying that it is a decision based on legal advice not to release except each quarter, after NetFlix got into hot water for releasing sub numbers "real time."

And as always "that would be the stupidest thing I have heard from a CEO" so lets test this theory shall we....

(1) So it is OK to file quarterlies with sub numbers and that doesn't give away trade secrets???? LOL....what a joke!
