I'm disappointed by the lack of execution in general.

Here is something from the press conference.

"HOUSTON – Bellator 149’s press conference got out of hand in the most predictable – and entertaining – of ways.

The event had yet to even start when streetfighter-turned-mixed-martial-artist Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson walked onto the stage and threw his first verbal jab at Dhafir “Dada 5000” Harris. From there, it was off to the races while headliners Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie took a backseat.

Bellator 149 takes place Friday from Toyoto Center in Houston. The main card airs on Spike.

Here’s a rundown of the top moments from a press conference which had no shortage of them.

* * * * *

Slice to Dada 5000: “Be yourself, [expletive]. Don’t do what I do.” – The moment that kicked the fireworks off. As Slice walked to his chair, he turned to Dada 5000 and threw out the line. It is in keeping with Slice’s standard talk regardling Dada 5000, that the man is just a low-rent version of himself who stepped up after Kimbo left the streetfighting game.

Shamrock after the Slice and Dada 5000 trash talk started: “I want to see this one!” – No one seemed to enjoy the Slice and Dada 5000 trash talk as much as Shamrock, who interjected twice saying that the co-headliners needed to let Bellator President Scott Coker, Gracie and himself know if they were going to get to throwing hands so they could get out of the way.

Gracie on main event against Shamrock: “Can’t wait. I’m ready.” – Gracie had little to say during the event but did make it clear that he was excited to have a third go at Shamrock.

Slice to Dada 5000: “You fool! Shut up, man. You ain’t got [expletive] to say. You looked like [expletive] in your training yesterday. Ain’t nothing you can do can hurt me.” – After the initial round of smack talk, Coker gave each fighter the floor to address the media. Slice passed on his turn, at which point Dada 5000 got less than 10 words out before he was loudly interrupted.

Dada 5000 to Slice: “You’re going to understand what it feels like to be helpless for the first time in a long time in your life. At the end of the day, you ain’t never met someone who’s going to hit you as hard as me.” – Most of the memorable lines belonged to Slice, but Dada 5000 got in his own shots once the early flurries were out of the way.

Slice to Dada 5000: “Pull your pants down. I’ll show my nuts right now. Let me see your nuts. You’ve got baby nuts, Dada. I bet you my nuts are bigger than yours. Come on. Excuse me, Royce. I bet my nuts bigger than yours.” – This is the moment MMA fans are likely to reference for years to come – for better or worse. Slice began pulling his pants down while challenging Dada 5000 to do the same. The moment was crass, but somehow also perfect for the two men involved. Luckily, cooler heads prevailed before any clothes hit the floor.

Dada 5000 to Slice: “Three people going in. Only two coming out on their own will, that’s me and the ref. You don’t got to be a rocket scientist to figure out who’s getting left.” – Dada 5000 again kept his smack talk to his in-cage intentions for Slice. It wasn’t exactly a physical display of manhood, but it got his point across.

Slice to Dada 5000: “I don’t need to use skills to knock this clown ass [expletive] out.” – Slice, after pointing out that he has become “well-rounded” and stressing that he “knows positions,” went on to explain why no one should expect to see his MMA game on display. Effectively, it was a promise that the two men will enter and put on the fight as advertised.
