Smartphone for $7.00. Who wants to be in this market?

Why is Intel bothering to partner with Rockchip and Spreadtrum? They're just racing to the bottom.

To your point, Intel needs to be in the premium smartphone segment. Unfortunately, they don't have the capacity to compete there - process lead and all.
